Mouse settings halp

Iz dunno what to do... sadface...

Currently I have my mouse (fail gaming mouse is fail) at 1800 dpi, and cod4 (and any other game with a numerical sensitivity rating) to 20 (console command). It's very fast movement, perfect at close range when not truly aiming at a small target. I've found that at medium-short+ ranges, I can't aim for shit. I dun haz a big desk like a lot of people. I use a poopy card table roflmao. My mousepad is... 8x5 inches? So if anyone has some suggestions for what I should have my mouse settings at, that'd be greatly appreciated.

PS - No I will not buy a bigger table and mousepad.
PPS - It's fun when 100000000 degree no scoping rofl.
PPPS - I can do a 360 in less than an inch of moving mah sensor.

i play with around 1.5 sensitivity in prettymuch... everygame. not sure what the dpi on the mouse is, but i figure its around 2000. figured i'd put my word in.

Thx for the help you two, but I got help from someone else.

DPI =/= In Game Sens.

High DPI + Lower in Game Sens. = Fast + Accuracy = Rape.

Lower DPI + High in Game Sens. = Fast + Loss of Accuracy = Bad aim.

High DPI + low sens = smoother movement

Vice versa is just jumpy as hell

im aware that their not the same thing. but my mouse has 2000 or so dpi. and my ingame-sensitivity is 1.5 so...
